I don’t often sew for myself, so it’s a fun change. I chose the Willow wrap dress/top* to sew up and really like how it turned out.
Confession: I had a super hectic week and didn’t get a chance to hem it yet. (I was too excited to try it on and then since picture taking time is minimal right now I had just the one chance for pics before I got to hem it). But since it’s knit I’m not in too much of a rush. It won’t unravel on me until I get a chance to finish that part up.
Based on the size chart I sewed up a size L, and I think it’s a pretty perfect fit for me. I decided to sew a tunic length mainly because I’m not much of a dress girl. The mister and I are the jeans and tees type so having a nice top to wear with pants works for me.
I like how the peplum top gives me a bit of an hourglass shape. I’m more of an inverted triangle/rectangle so this top helps balance me out.
Also, another confession. We’re also not really the Valentine’s day celebratory type either. Especially with the two kids we tend to stick to having a nice dinner at home.
So my pictures aren’t the best right now, I was in such a rush to get them I only got a few that Miss V didn’t photobomb, ha.
